Nous clôturons l’année en vous présentant un aperçu de l'un de nos projets phares au Cambodge, situé sur le site archéologique d’Angkor, classé sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Depuis 2012, la France s’est engagée au côté du Cambodge à soutenir les efforts de restauration du temple du Mébon occidental, en partenariat avec l’Autorité nationale cambodgienne APSARA. Dans le cadre de trois financements via le dispositif du fonds de solidarité pour les projets innovants (FSPI) « Angkor : restauration, mise en valeur du patrimoine et formation », l’Ambassade de France au Cambodge a fait appel à notre équipe pour mener une évaluation du travail effectué. Ainsi, Insuco a réalisé un bilan consolidé du projet, mené des consultations sur le terrain avec les parties prenantes, dans la province de Siem Reap notamment. Nous avons réalisé une matrice d'évaluation afin de mesurer l’atteinte des objectifs du projet et de proposer des recommandations visant à accroître l’efficacité du chantier, améliorer les méthodes de collaboration, optimiser l’impact positif du chantier et du projet touristique, et définir une nouvelle orientation des besoins en matière de formation. * We close the year with an overview of one of our key projects in Cambodia, within the UNESCO world heritage archaeological site of Angkor. Since 2012, France has been committed alongside Cambodia to support restoration efforts at the West Mebon temple, in partnership with the Cambodian APSARA National Authority. As part of three financing via the solidarity fund for innovative projects (FSPI) “Angkor: restoration, heritage development and training” system, the French Embassy in Cambodia chose our team to conduct an evaluation of the work carried out. Insuco provided a consolidated assessment of the project, conducting site visits and stakeholder consultations in Siem Reap province. #Ecuador 🌍 ¿Somos capaces de superar una visión de riesgos y tener una mirada de transformación territorial en la minería? En el marco del Encuentro Anual de Minería #ENAEP2024, organizado por Seminarium Ecuador y María Rosa Tapia Flores, nuestro Director General para América Latina y el Caribe de Insuco y Presidente Ejecutivo de ICSI -Insuco Center for Social Innovation, Guillen Calvo, abordó esa interrogante en su exposición: 💡 "No puede haber generación de riqueza en el sector minero, si no abordamos este tema estructural de cómo generar una transformación de los territorios en los cuales se desarrollan estos proyectos mineros. Alguien dijo esta mañana: 'apostémosle a la minería'. Yo quisiera invitarles a que apostemos todos a los territorios". Este llamado invita a plantear la minería y el desarrollo de proyectos de gran envergadura desde una perspectiva de responsabilidad social territorial, priorizando el diálogo y la corresponsabilidad con las comunidades impactadas. Solo poniendo a las personas y sus territorios en el corazón de las decisiones lograremos un desarrollo que equilibre el crecimiento económico, la inclusión social y la sostenibilidad ambiental. As part of the Annual Mining Meeting #ENAEP2024, organized by Seminarium Ecuador and María Rosa Tapia Flores, our Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Insuco and Executive President of ICSI - Insuco Center for Social Innovation, Guillen Calvo, addressed this question during his presentation: 💡 "There can be no wealth generation in the mining sector if we do not tackle the structural issue of how to create a transformation in the territories where these mining projects take place. Someone said this morning, 'let’s bet on mining.' I would like to invite you all to bet on the territories." This message calls for rethinking mining and large-scale projects from a perspective of territorial social responsibility, emphasizing dialogue and shared responsibility with impacted communities. Only by putting people and their territories at the heart of decision-making can we achieve development that balances economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability".
