We are delighted to be a part of this incredible initiative. Thank you to the GROW® Pharma team for expanding the Grow Access Project to now include all UK #University Students. This change was enacted following the recent rise in mental health issues among students, and as low-income access schemes use benefits for proof, but students do not qualify for benefits. GAP is the first scheme in the UK to address the issues that young people face. #MedicalCannabis #Accessibility #Cannabis #Students
We’re thrilled to announce a major step forward for Medical Cannabis accessibility! 🌿 Grow Pharma, in collaboration with Integro Medical Clinics, is expanding the Grow Access Project to all UK #university students 🎓 This initiative will help students access affordable cannabis medicines, supporting those who need it most. We have chosen to expand the scheme to students due to the recent sharp increase in student mental health issues, and as low-income access schemes use benefits for proof, but students do not qualify for benefits. GAP is the first scheme in the UK to address the issues that young people face. The scheme provides a free initial consultation and reduced costs on medicines and fees, making healthcare more inclusive. This means that students can chat to a specialist and find out what medicines would be needed and how much they cost, before paying anything. At Grow, we believe that no one should face barriers to life-changing treatments. The Grow Access Project already assists veterans, low-income individuals, Blue Light Card holders, and now students. Together, we're unlocking the potential of #MedicalCannabis for a more equal future. 🙌 To read the full release: https://lnkd.in/eAAXmK8F #Students #Accessibility #GrowPharma #Integro #AccessScheme #Uni #BritishBusiness #StudentDiscount

GROW® Pharma and Integro Medical Clinics are set to expand their flagship medical cannabis access program to all UK university students. Citing a rise in mental health issues among students, the expansion of the access scheme aims to lower the prices of access to medical cannabis for this largely low-income demographic, in what it described as a ‘massive missed opportunity’. Unlike other groups that the ‘Grow Access Project’ (GAP) has expanded to recently, including Blue Light Card holders, the clinics have taken extra precautions to establish a risk protocol for younger recipients in an effort to ensure patient safety. https://lnkd.in/e9W4tP3Y

#TuesdayTip 🌱 - How often do patients need to book a follow-up appointment? We ask our patients to book in an appointment after the first month of care, so that our clinicians can make sure your treatment plan has started smoothly. After that, we ask that you book in every 3 months. Our team wanted to highlight follow-up appointments today as it is #PatientSafetyDay, which aims to raise global awareness for reducing patient harm. Having regular check-ins allows us to do this, and patients can book in calls with our Nurses and Doctors as often as they'd like. #PatientsFirst #PatientCare #MedicalCannabis #UK

Important information for patients! 💙 #GAP
We are proud to announce the expansion of the GAP to include Blue Light Card 🩵 The Grow Access Project was originally designed to reduce cost-related barriers to prescribed cannabis medicines for patients on benefits and UK armed forces veterans. By extending this program to Blue Light Card holders, Grow Pharma aims to further its mission of improving accessibility to cannabis medicines. The Blue Light Card is the UK’s foremost discount provider for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector, civil services, and much more (swipe for the full list), recognizing the invaluable contributions of these professionals. The benefits are a reduced cost of certain medicines, which can be accessed by requesting that your doctor sends your prescription to IPS Pharma, and marks/stamps it as “GAP”. Those eligible are also entitled to a free first appointment and reduced repeat prescription fees at Integro Medical Clinics.
