Finnforel to build RAS fish farming facility in #UAE #AbuDhabi-based investment company ADQ has signed an agreement with Finnish aquaculture firm Finnforel to explore the development of a land-based fish farming facility in the UAE. The project, which aims to produce up to 3,000 tonnes of rainbow trout annually, will use recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) that filter and reuse water in a closed environment. Maritech expands into European and Asian markets Maritech, a Norway-based provider of cloud-based software for the seafood industry, has announced its expansion into new markets in Europe and Asia. Nordic Aqua Partners finalises 30-year lease for expansion in #Ningbo, #China Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nordic Aqua Partners, has signed a 30-year rental agreement with the Xiangshan Government for land and production facilities.
