  • 💡What is The IMRF's #SaferSAR initiative? #SaferSAR is the IMRF’s global initiative to improve safety at sea by encouraging SAR professionals to share lessons learned from incidents and accidents. The initiative addresses the lack of a global system for collecting, analysing, and sharing SAR data, helping organisations identify safety risks and improve practices. As part of #SaferSAR, we’ve launched an incident reporting platform with CHIRP, allowing SAR crews to report accidents and safety concerns. All reports are completely anonymous and confidential, contributing to a global database that helps identify trends and improve safety across the industry. SAR organisations are encouraged to participate and share experiences, strengthening safety practices worldwide.
