🌟 Beautiful day in London! Thrilled to flying the flag for the Sales team at #WOSR24 Women of Silicon Roundabout conference where innovation meets inspiration. Yesterday, I attended a great session on Responsible AI in Healthcare from @Haleon — an eye-opening conversation about the ethical and impactful use of technology in the industry. There were also several other sessions packed with great AI content that sparked ideas and conversations. Today, the focus shifted with Carolyn Brand on the importance of developing a personal brand. Big thanks to InterSystems UKI for supporting us to attend - looking forward to putting these insights into practice and continue learning from all the amazing speakers and attendees. #WomenInTech #Leadership #CareerGrowth #AI Helen Taylor Alison Findlay Marianne Campbell Roza Zobedey Klaudia Roginska

As new regulatory frameworks and standards come into force, compliance teams must be able to respond effectively. The alternative is to risk public censure, stiff financial penalties, and loss of organisational reputation. But compliance with evolving regulation should not come at the cost of efficiency. To explore the regulatory pressures facing financial services institutions, InterSystems and FStech surveyed more than 100 financial services professionals in the UK and Ireland. 📩 Download the report to delve into the critical role of data management in navigating challenges and transforming them into strategic advantages: https://lnkd.in/eBKfnjsd

Helping organisations develop innovative architectures, based on robust strategies that can cope with the increasingly unpredictable nature of current events
Interoperability was a major focus of today’s InterSystems UKI NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) Pit Stop meeting, and I had the opportunity to take part in a session exploring its critical role in healthcare. #Interoperability in healthcare is vital for seamless data exchange, and adopting emerging standards like HL7® FHIR® can make all the difference for #HealthTech companies striving to integrate their solutions into NHS systems. Frameworks like #FHIR simplify the integration process by enabling the efficient exchange of healthcare data across diverse sources such as electronic health records (EHRs), smart medical devices, wearables, and more. Unlike older standards, FHIR is designed to facilitate the creation of innovative applications that aggregate, analyse, and share healthcare data from disparate systems. For HealthTech companies, familiarity with FHIR and other standards like HL7v2 is now a necessity. Building these standards into your solutions from the outset can reduce the time and cost of integration with NHS systems, ensure compatibility across multiple care settings and platforms, and future-proof your solutions for evolving healthcare requirements. By leveraging FHIR, HealthTech innovators can break down data silos, deliver actionable insights, and transform raw health data into meaningful improvements in care delivery. Whether it’s enabling faster diagnoses, improving workflow efficiencies, or enhancing patient outcomes, standards-based interoperability is the foundation for success. Thank you to everyone involved for a great event.

The smiles say it all ! What a day we had with the clinical entrepreneurs of NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. Hinnah Rafique and Ruby Jackson kicked off a mindful health and wellbeing check in, a wonderful opportunity for the entrepreneurs to share some personal ups and downs of late. Tony truly promotes mental health expression 👏🏻 we all should embrace. Colin and Mike shared InterSystems story from when Terry started the business, with learnings along the way. Russell kindly shared the Ummanu Health 's experience as a start up as they've matured and how InterSystems UKI helped them along the way. Kate and Laura engaged the whole room with advice on approaches to Clinical Safety with compliance and it's vital role to ensure patients are at the ❤️ of health. We had a few good laughs along the way! Jon and Saurav got into the no.1 issue that more healthtechs face, interoperability! Sharing the history of data standards and the relevance to the audience and their future clients. Rami captivated the room on the real world aspects of AI , scenarios we are engaged on with partners and clients around the globe. The Q&A could have gone on for hours! (I also managed to get some private time with Rami for a #heartofhealth interview that I'll be posting up this week!) After lunch 9 brave souls pitched to a panel of Tony Young , Kate, Colin, Jon and Rami. The day finished up with an intense panel discussion with Evgeny, Dr Fin Williams , James Lomas and Neil Stevens CHCIO. They shared their background and challenges faced by Digital startups in Health, with a lot of sanguine advice shared through lots of audience questions. So seeing smiles after all that was the most satisfying end, our thanks to all who joined us in Windsor and we look forward to helping many of you get to the next stage of your health start ups. #healthentrepreneurs #healthtechs
