That’s why their support has been so humbling and impactful. Despite the difficult times they face, they offered their time, resources, and expertise—and often without charge. We had young people across the country reaching for the sky in November with four in-person events with Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom. Students in Carlisle, Manchester, London and St. Ives met aviation professionals ranging from pilots and aviation consultants to hangar assistants and training instructors. Thank you to the schools that hosted and to our incredible volunteers for giving their time to inspire the next generation:  At Richard Rose Central Academy in Carlisle, Alan Rayson- Flight Instructor, Carlisle Flight Training, Benjamin Dixon - Student Commercial Pilot, Carlisle Flight Training, and Debbie Smyth –  Pilot, Tui Airways.   Attending our event at Abbott Community Primary School in Manchester, Gray Coleman and Jordan Ngamba – both Commercial Utilities Bureau Managers at Manchester Airport Group and Elida Teoli Eatough - Lead Training Instructor, Sky People Training. At our London event, Mark Parbhoo – Airline Pilot, and Lalitya D. – Valuations Manager working within aviation consulting. At St Ives Junior, St. Ives, Paul Wilkins, Sensor Operator / Deputy Base Manager (NQY), Special Missions, 2Excel Aviation, Emily Curnow - Pilot, Isles of Scilly Travel, and  Ian Whittaker - Hangar Assistant, Isles of Scilly Travel.

We are looking for a seasonal Able Seaman to work onboard Scillonian III between late February and early November on a two week on/off rotation.
