About us
Ital Logistics was founded in August 2000 initially to provide road freight transport services to and from Italy. Skipping on some twenty years, we now provide similar road freight services to and from Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, France, Germany, Gibraltar and Andorra, as well as our founding service to and from Italy. But that's not all. We also provide sea freight and air freight services worldwide, as well as offering general forwarding services throughout the rest of Europe, including cross trades in conjunction with our commercial partners in our core country markets. Although we transport freight of all kinds, we specialise in the carriage of dangerous goods in scope of ADR and IMDG, and this specialisation is spread through all services. To ensure regulatory compliance, we currently have four on-site DGSAs, and all our operational and warehouse colleagues are also trained, and continually refreshed, to a high standard. In December 2014 we moved premises to our current location in Heywood, just a mile outside Manchester's M60 ring road. Situated in a 24/7 manned secure site, our purpose built facility comprises 16,000ft² across 1¼ acres, dock-levellers for rear loading and unloading, and is secured by full access control, extensive CCTV, and monitored alarm. Additional third party receiving facilities in the South complements our UK wide coverage. We have built our reputation by providing a reliable and competitive service to the very best of our abilities, and we will continually endeavour to do just that.

BMW R Nine T Motorbike to Gibraltar 🌍 We recently had the pleasure of handling the export of a BMW R Nine T motorbike — a challenging cargo to secure for transit. Over the years, our team has successfully shipped many classic cars and motorbikes worldwide, and this was another project we were excited to take on. A big thank you to Nortex international for providing the specially designed bike pallet with hooks, which played a crucial role in securing the motorbike for transport. With the expertise of our Ital Logistics Limited team, we carefully loaded and secured the bike, ensuring everything was properly prepared for its 5-day journey from Manchester to Gibraltar. Supporting Bootle Bucks Inclusion FC: A Charity Close to My Heart 💙⚽ This Christmas, I’m incredibly proud to share that Ital Logistics Limited have supported Bootle Bucks Inclusion FC, a charity that’s not just close to my heart—it’s a big part of my family’s journey. For those who may not know, Bootle Bucks Inclusion FC is an incredible charity offering football opportunities for people of all abilities. It’s more than just a football club—it’s a place where everyone, regardless of their challenges, can come together, have fun, and build lasting friendships. The work they do is transformative, and I’ve been lucky enough to see it first-hand. My Dad, Phil Hoare, was a massive football fan and a huge supporter of Bootle Bucks. He believed deeply in what they do, even though, in the later stages of his life, he wasn’t able to support them in the way he had before. After being diagnosed with cancer, he couldn’t make the journey over to their events as often as he’d have liked. But despite his illness, he never lost his admiration for what Bootle Bucks provided to the community. He saw the joy it brought to others, and I know he would be so proud of the impact they continue to make today. When my Dad sadly passed away earlier this year, I was reminded of just how much Bootle Bucks had been there for us, even when he couldn’t physically be present. The charity, and everyone involved with it, treated my dad like family—and their support during his illness, and after his passing, has been something I’ll never forget and will be forever be grateful for. That’s why it means so much to me to see Ital Logistics Limited supporting Bootle Bucks. Our company’s donation will help ensure their incredible work continues, providing a safe space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy football, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships. I’m incredibly proud to work for a company that not only understands the importance of giving back but also genuinely supports causes that are close to our hearts. Ital have helped make it possible for me to keep my Dad’s memory alive through their support and I’m extremely grateful. This photo of my Dad in his Bootle Bucks jumper says it all. Proudly wearing a blue top branded with bootle, to a Burnley vs Everton game. Did he look like an Everton fan that had snook into the Burnley home end? Absolutely.
