Nursing respite care for life limited and life threatened young children in Gloucestershire. Children's hospice, Glos
About us
James Hopkins Trust - Providing nursing respite care for Gloucestershire's life limited and life threatened young children. Established in 1989 we provide care for babies and children up to the age of 5 who have a life limiting or life threatening condition while supporting their families. We currently support over 100 children in Gloucestershire. Since 1989 James Hopkins Trust has helped well over 500 children and their families in every corner of Gloucestershire, our free nursing respite can be night or day in the family home or at our purpose built multi-sensory respite centre and gardens called Kites Corner. We are here to create very special, lasting memories at Kites Corner, which is filled with love and laughter.

Colesbourne Gardens is the premier place to see snowdrops in bloom. The collection is probably the most varied of any garden on display, with over three hundred varieties of this spectacular harbinger of spring on show during the short season. Over 10 acres of private gardens and woodland walks with a mix of snowdrops, hellebores, cyclamen and a wide variety of early flowering shrubs. The Gardens include an arboretum of rare trees privately collected over the past 120 years, many of which are Champion trees listed in the Tree Register of the British Isles. https://lnkd.in/e_-2SDce

Can you help with our annual auction please? We are still in need of more lots. Do you have contact with a local business that might be able to help? We are looking for new donated items or experiences etc. Perhaps a hotel that will offer accommodation or a meal, a golf course that will offer a round for 4, a company that can donate an item they manufacture? Or perhaps someone that can offer their professional services by offering a voucher? Unfortunately we can’t auction second hand items (unless it is of high value!) If you can help please contact us fundraising@jameshopkinstrust.org.uk
