Vantage Data Centers has chosen Turner Construction Co. as the lead contractor for a $2-billion data center campus in New Albany, Ohio. This project will include three data centers totaling 1.5 million square feet and 192 MW on a 70-acre site, marking Vantage's seventh North American location. Matt Kunz from Turner highlights the project's role in meeting regional demand for scalable and sustainable infrastructure. The first center is set to be operational by 2025, with the others by 2028, aiming for LEED Silver certification. AEP Ohio will supply electricity, amid proposals for tariffs on data centers to cover infrastructure costs.
