About us

Janda is derived from the first names of the founders of Welovemanfood Ltd, Jon Honeyball and Andre Dang. The brand was born after friends and family started following a plant based diet, and asked if products within their Manfood range could be veganised. At the same time, their youngest nephew was diagnosed with allergies to egg and dairy, so the partners in life and business were inspired to develop great tasting products that he could enjoy.

  • Janda Food to showcase its range at Plant Based World Expo London. Condiments brand Janda Food will showcase its range of 100% plant based sweet and savoury sauces and spreads at this years Plant Based World Expo. The show takes place from 13th-14th November at ExCel London. About Janda Food. Janda Food, derived from its founders first names Jon Honeyball and Andre Dang, will showcase both its individual jars, which are packed in recyclable glass and labelled with 99% recycled material, as well as its new range of gift boxes which are perfect for gifting and the festive season. They will be part of the Diverse Fine Food stand, where a variety of plant based brands distributed by the  Taunton based will showcase their ranges. Janda Food started as a direct result of Jon and Andre’s youngest nephew being diagnosed with allergies to dairy, fish and eggs. With the demand for plant based products booming, the partners in life and business decided to launch a small range of both sweet and savoury spreads and sauces which didn’t compromise on taste. Best sellers and new launches. Their best seller is their Vegan Lemon Spread, a bright and zingy alternative to lemon curd, but without the conventional butter and eggs. Made with British rapeseed oil, this versatile spread can be used as an ingredient, spread and cake filling. Newly launched, will be their Chunky Piccalilli. Unlike conventional piccalilli, this does not contain any onions or garlic, so is FODMAP friendly.
