On Friday, the JAW Team enjoyed our Christmas party with some Crazy Golf followed by a beautiful pub dinner!🦈🎄⛳ Christmas is always a great excuse for the team to reflect on all we've achieved this year and celebrate in style.   Thank you to the whole team here at JAW for the all hard work they've put in throughout 2024, and a special thank you from the team to our lovely Director Jess for her dedication, support and all the laughs and joy brought to the office this year! 💚

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a site tour at The Waterman for a group of New York University students studying Historic and Sustainable Architecture. Led by our Head of Sustainability Matthew Robinson, the tour explored how this historic site has been transformed into a modern workspace while preserving its heritage and prioritising sustainability. The students learned about our approach to material reuse, from reused bricks to terrazzo countertops made from reclaimed glass. We also discussed the low-carbon material specifications and building services upgrades that contributed to achieving an EPC A rating. Thank you to JAW Sustainability for arranging the visit. The team had a wonderful time at the Future Foundations Network Winter Warmer on Wednesday, where they enjoyed networking with other young professionals in the construction industry. Thanks to committee members Alice Thwaites-Rice, Charlie Curry, Laura Pearson and Bianca Howl for setting up the event and to Humanscale for the use of their lovely showroom! ❄️

Juice time! The team were treated to an apple-solutely delicious array of ginger shots kindly provided by the guys from Mejuicer 🌶 As well as enjoying some firey shots together, it was good to learn about the many health benefits their juices can bring. What's more their ginger shots are provided in reusable glassware and they donate 1% of all sales to CALM!    Thanks again to Joe and Luke for a lovely afternoon 🍑
