Finishing off the week with one of our latest installs on Deerhurst Care Home, in partnership with Bristol Energy Cooperative and Brunelcare. This 100.57 kWp system (including 226 JA Solar 445W modules and a fully optimised SolarEdge Technologies system) will provide an estimated 84,865 kWh's a year, and estimated carbon saving of 17.57 tonnes annually. All solar generated power will help to run the building, providing energy bill savings of around £9,200 per year - with any excess being exported to the grid. A little look back to earlier in the year, when Sir David English Sports Centre became the first leisure centre operated by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live to offer EV charging. We’re delighted to have helped them.    We’ve installed EV charge points there, as part of the charity’s wider environmental strategy to introduce sustainable measures at the venues it operates across the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole region.   Rob Dickin, our Joju Charging Key Accounts Lead, had this to say:    "It’s great to be working with partners like BH Live to deliver EV charging infrastructure that will help support the switch to electric vehicles, and assist us all in our goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions. The new charger will benefit visitors to the Sir David English Sports Centre and will encourage others to make the switch to an electric vehicle”.   #throwbackthursday #EVCharging #electricvehicles #EVCharginginstallation

Some great news to round off the week! Our Joju installed charge points on the Mer network have hit a 10 million kWh milestone!    On average, you can travel 3.5miles per kWh in your EV, so this milestone equates to driving around the earth about 1,405 times.
