Close collaboration with the Armed Forces is a cornerstone of our operations, and we recently had the pleasure of welcoming several key leaders to Kongsberg. "Visits from the branch chiefs provide us with valuable insights and knowledge sharing, which are essential for developing the best products. We are in a time of rapid change, where innovation and development are happening at a pace that challenges us to think smarter and act faster,” said our President Eirik Lie. The visit included a tour of our production site, highlighting strong interest in NASAMS, and ended at Nexus – the world’s most advanced missile production facility. “It is important to understand how we can collaborate more effectively with our strategic partner, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, to contribute to the development of technology and systems used by Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces. The visit provided a deeper understanding of the needs of both parties in the continued cooperation, as we grow and develop in the years ahead,” says Chief of the Royal Norwegian Air Force, Øivind Gunnerud. In a constantly changing security landscape, ongoing evolution and collaboration are key to meeting future challenges. #Collaboration #DefenceIndustry #ProtectingPeopleandPlanet

We’ve recently signed an agreement with local Kongsberg-based company Kodyna to supply the ammunition handling system for our Medium Calibre Turret (MCT-30). This partnership highlights the value of working with local businesses while supporting global defence programmes. Series deliveries will be completed this year, with shipments heading to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace Inc. in the US for integration into the United States Marine Corps' new amphibious vehicle. “As a growing company, we highly value the trust and collaboration established with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and consider this contract a significant recognition of our expertise and delivery capabilities in large international projects,” said Tomas Wamstad, CEO-Partner in Kodyna.
