A huge thank you to the Basingstoke Food Bank, part of The Trussell Trust, for continuing to provide vital emergency food and essential items to those in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. Last week Parent and Caregiving ERG leader, Joseph Dessent, delivered the 35.80kg worth of essentials generously donated by Lavazza Professional associates. Volunteer Paul shared with us just how important these donations are to those who really need it, especially through the Winter months when cold weather conditions make it even harder for families in the local area to get by. The Basingstoke Food Bank not only provide food and essentials to those families, but also provide support through activities such as counselling sessions to understand how families can tackle challenging situations.
