LIBERTY Speciality Steels has recently completed the project to rebuild the river wall at our Stocksbridge site, securing the local community. The river, which runs below ground through the site, caused erosion that led to the collapse of the wall around Gate 1, threatening nearby properties. The project team overcame significant challenges, including restricted access, a steep slope, and the presence of protected species in the river. A temporary bridge, roadway, and manual transport of materials were required to complete the rebuild. The work, which took several months, also included replacing additional foundation sections to prevent further collapse. Community engagement was key to the project's success. A big thank you to all involved! #CommunityImpact #TeamWork

♻Did you know that steel is 100% recyclable? This means it can be continuously reused without compromising its quality. A steel beam today could become a refrigerator, car, or even a train carriage tomorrow.🚋 #Recycling #CarbonNeutral #Sustainability
