This year, we proudly welcomed 11 more leaders into our signature Leadership program, which emphasises leadership with a greater purpose. Our team had the privilege of collaborating with Crohn's & Colitis UK, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by these life-changing conditions.   As we approach #CrohnsAndColitisAwarenessWeek, we wanted to share a heartfelt poem by Simone Finegan, one of our program leaders, which she wrote after working with Crohn's & Colitis UK as part of the leadership program:   We started on this journey not knowing where it would lead, We weren’t sure what we’d discover, what you’d want or what you’d need. We tried to keep an open mind right from the very start, What we didn’t think we’d leave with, is such an open heart. You’ve touched us with your stories, with all the challenges you face, Of how difficulties of the body and mind are interlaced. For the journey we’ve been on, privileged is what we feel. We hope that what we’ve done can help others mend and heal. You have new Lindt ambassadors that love everything you do, So keep that passion going, and from us we say “Thank you”.   A huge thank you to Crohn's & Colitis UK for allowing us to support your incredible cause. This October, we took significant steps to enhance our collective well-being. 🧠 For World Mental Health Day, we welcomed Ted Bradshaw, who shared practical tips on maintaining good mental health and self-care. It was a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and reset. 🌸 For World Menopause Day, Clare Spencer from My Menopause Centre hosted an enlightening Learning Lab on “Demystifying Menopause”. The session was truly inspiring and informative. We’re thrilled to announce that Joel Burrows is returning to lead our UK and Ireland team as CEO. After seven successful years as CEO of our Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in the San Francisco Bay area, Joel is back, bringing with him his incredible energy, charisma, and desire to lead with a sense of possibility. Known for delivering outstanding results while motivating everyone around him, Joel is a unique and special leader. We at Lindt & Sprungli UK are excited to start this new chapter with him. With mixed emotions, we say farewell to Konstantin Eckes, our Lindt & Sprungli UK & Ireland CEO, as he leaves us to take the helm at our Lindt & Sprungli Switzerland subsidiary. Over the past five years, Konstantin’s leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to our values have left a positive impact on our team. It’s rare to encounter a leader who combines professionalism with genuine warmth; his approachability and empathy have made him a cherished part of our work family, and we will miss him. 🎉 Our Lindt UK Thrive Together Summer Conference was a blast! Incredible immersive experiences allowed us to truly feel the potential of our brands and our ambition. We had the privilege of welcoming Pippa Grange, who talked with us about how we can fear less to fulfil our potential, and in our Thriving As Me workshop, we explored the self-imposed boundaries we often put in our own way and how to shift them to reach our truest potential. Meditation, axe throwing and woodland walks all allowed for meaningful moments of connection and a lot of laughs! Our PowerPoint-free event allowed space for thought-provoking sessions and opportunities to really connect with each other, all topped off with a night of dancing with Charlie Hedges and Gok Wan, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to all the team at Lindt & Sprungli UK who worked so hard on the event and to our partners, PL1 Events Ltd, Andrew Parish, The Celtic Collection and Qwerty Ltd for helping us bring it all to life.

Moments of Movement & Learning Power at Lindt UK & IRE   We were blown away by the passion shown during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2024 and #LearningAtWorkWeek2024. Thanks to everyone who got involved in the 5km run/walk, the puzzle at Head Office, walk & talks, and the #MomentsofMovement photo challenge, which helped us raise £250 for the #mentalhealthfoundation.   Throughout the week, we also hosted some Learning Labs to inspire everyone to move their minds and embrace their #LearningPower. We were joined by the wonderful @TomLynch (our brand-new Category & Commercial Strategy Director), who shared his Growth Mindset approach to development and key learnings from his personal development journey. We also welcomed @HayleyWatts from Think Productive, who taught us "The Way of the Productivity Ninja".   The week was a huge success, and we wanted to thank everyone who got involved!
