Thank you to all you wonderful people who contributed to our Bundles of Joy campaign over Christmas, helping put smiles on the faces of families across London. It takes a village, and we are so humbled by the kindness of ours. Because of your generosity we could deliver so many more bundles to families, which included pre-loved cosy clothes, pjs, bedding, nappies, as well as beautiful toys and books. Fancy a challenge for the new year? We have a few spaces left to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Little Village on Sunday 6th April. You'll run through the centre of London, starting by The Strand, finishing by Downing Street with views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye. If you’d like to take part, we ask that you aim to raise a minimum £500 in sponsorship, which we will support you with along the way. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Volunteer Training and Engagement Manager to join the team at Little Village. Here's what you'll do: - Build a values-driven volunteer experience rooted in love, solidarity and sustainability - Design meaningful and inclusive training and support resources - Create bespoke volunteer journeys to encourage diversity - Create a sense of community for volunteers, staff and families - Contribute best practices in volunteer management We think that this job requires between 28-35 hours per week, based at home with a minimum of 1 day a week onsite, and the salary is £34,505 FTE per annum.
