As proud custodians of brands such as McVitie’s and Ülker, we know a thing or two about dunking! But colleagues at our HQ in London received a new kind of dunking lesson – wheelchair basketball with London Titans Wheelchair Basketball Club, who we proudly sponsor!   Joined by Ade Adepitan, a member of our Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Board and part of the Titans starting line-up, our colleagues got to experience the thrill and skill of the UK’s biggest Paralympic sport first-hand. Witnessing the London Titans’ triumphs this year has been a privilege, and our partnership is deeply rooted in the shared goal of creating more equal opportunities for all. It was an inspiring day, spent with some truly extraordinary athletes who embody resilience and excellence.

London Titans are heading towards another successful season in wheelchair basketball as they top both the Premier and Division 2 tables. With playoffs taking place on May 18th and 19th, (this weekend) the Titans could be set for two championship title in 2023. This event includes the finals for National League Divisions 1-3 and Premier Division, Women’s Premier League, and Junior League, as well as semi-final and 3rd/4th playoff games throughout the weekend. Across the weekend, both courts at Essex Sports Arena will be in action as we conclude the thrilling 2023-24 season.    One of the key factors in the continued success of the London Titans has been your on-going support. Thanks to your support, the Titans have been able to present themselves as one club. This has allowed all six teams to develop and grow stronger as this season has progressed.   But it's not just about winning titles or topping league tables. The London Titans are a club that is committed to providing an environment where all players can thrive, regardless of their experience level or ability. This is reflected in the strong sense of community and camaraderie that exists within the club.   With playoffs just around the corner, the London Titans will be hoping to continue their strong performances and bring home another championship title.
