Lonsite is committed to driving equality and diversity in construction, not just during Women in Construction Week, but every day. We celebrate the women who are building our future - their resilience, expertise, and leadership are essential to our industry's success. With a critical skills shortage, fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce is more important than ever. This year's theme, 'Together We Rise,' truly reflects the strength and knowledge women bring to shaping the future of construction. #WomenInConstruction #WiC2025 #TogetherWeRise #ConstructionIndustry

I ended 2024 by becoming a Mental Health First Aider for the first time, completing the course with Rejuvenate Mental Health. Thank you to Karen Bickmore for providing the training and invaluable knowledge necessary to carry out the role as a MHFAider. Construction is an industry deeply impacted by mental health, and we need to better ensure that everyone is seen and heard. While there's always room for personal growth and expanding my knowledge, I feel confident in my ability to provide valuable support to others. #MHFAider #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #Construction

There are at least two construction-related suicides per day in the UK, amounting to over 700 per year. Male construction workers in the UK are four times more likely to commit suicide than the national average. It is time for change. At Lonsite, we believe mental health is of the utmost importance, let us break the stigma and begin talking to one another when we do not feel at our best.
