🎄 A Wonderful Final Total From Our Christmas Charity Run 🎄 I wanted to take a moment to share some brilliant news and say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas fundraiser for Maidstone Homeless Care. At the start of December, we set a goal of raising £1,000 by taking part in the 5km Maidstone Park Run and the 12km Turkey Run. Thanks to the generosity of friends, colleagues, and clients, we absolutely smashed that target - raising over £3,000! To put that into perspective: 🎁 £5 provides a Greggs gift card for a homeless individual 🎁 £10 funds a Christmas meal for a couple 🎁 £25 covers a Christmas dinner for a family of four What’s even more fabulous is that the funds raised surpassed what the charity will need this Christmas. This means that not only we will be helping at least 100 families and individuals this Christmas but also support Maidstone Homeless Care’s work well into 2025. This fundraiser also marks the end of the first year of our Loucas in the Community initiative. Alongside raising money, the team has picked up over 100kg of litter and donated blood during work hours. Seeing what we’ve achieved together this year has been genuinely inspiring. I’m so proud of the team and grateful to everyone who contributed - it’s a reminder of the real impact we can have when we work together. Here’s to building on this momentum next year. Excited to announce our commitment to making a positive impact in our community and we are thrilled to share that one of our initiatives is donating blood. When brainstorming ideas for Loucas to contribute socially, blood donation stood out. Many employees expressed that they had always wanted to donate but faced challenges with timing and arrangements. Recognising this, we decided to facilitate blood donations during working hours to support our team in making a difference. With 1.6 million units of blood transferred to UK hospitals each year, every donation counts and can literally save lives. Leading by example, Athos made his first blood donation this week, and several employees are scheduled to donate in the coming weeks. #LoucasInTheCommunity #beingthedifference #SaveLivesGiveBlood
