Whether you're in research and development or production, real-time insights into phase transitions can significantly enhance your material performance and reduce costly experimental runs. Lucideon’s real-time high temperature x-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis is particularly valuable in industries that require precision in materials development, including advanced ceramics, metals, and oxides. Real-time high temperature XRD is a powerful analytical technique used to study phase transformations in materials as they are subjected to varying temperatures. Unlike traditional XRD methods, which only capture data at a single temperature point, real-time high-temperature XRD enables continuous monitoring of material phase changes throughout heating and cooling processes. This approach provides critical insights into how materials such as ceramics, metals, and oxides behave under extreme thermal conditions, making it essential for industries like aerospace, energy, and advanced materials research. By identifying phase transitions in real-time, this method helps optimise material properties, predict performance, and accelerate development cycles. Interested in learning more? Whether you are an engineer, researcher, or designer looking to explore new possibilities in ceramics, Lucideon’s expert ceramic robocasting services have been designed to provide you with flexibility and precision in ceramic product development. Ceramic robocasting, also known as Direct Ink Writing (DIW), is an advanced 3D printing technique used to create intricate ceramic structures by extruding paste in a series of layers. Unlike traditional ceramic manufacturing methods, robocasting allows for the creation of complex geometries without the need for moulds, enabling faster production and reducing material waste. This technology is ideal for prototyping, low-volume production, and testing the feasibility of innovative designs, offering a versatile solution for industries ranging from aerospace to biomedical application. Lucideon’s offering is perfect for helping our clients with prototype production and small batch manufacturing, conducting feasibility studies, and developing material formulation for ceramic 3D printing. Ceramic robocasting is ideal for creating components with unique attributes, including heat-resistant parts for aerospace and automotive applications, and ceramic components for electronic and sensor technologies. We’ve even assisted in the development of custom biomedical implants and devices, including complex scaffolds and lattices for enhanced filter tortuosity or optimised bone regeneration implants.
