As far as reasons go for being out of the office, this was a first. That said, the missing Lysander project management team member wasn’t far from the office and could be found at the Tower of London firing a 41-round gun salute for the Emir of Qatar, who is here on a state visit. The role of an army reservist is varied and allows reservists to serve in their spare time while working full-time. Great progress is being made on-site at West Midlands Interchange, with earthworks for the three southern units of the scheme due to be completed within the next few months. Over the last nine months, a staggering 78,134 cubic metres of soil have been removed. That's enough to fill 31 Olympic-sized swimming pools and weighs almost 130,000 tonnes. In addition, 33 million litres of water have been removed, equating to 13.2 million bottles of Coca-Cola (other brands are available), which, when stacked, would be over 2,000 kilometres high, approximately the distance from London to Athens! Workshop day with the Lysander crew! 🚀 There’s nothing like bringing a team together to level up their LinkedIn game. Yesterday, I ran a LinkedIn workshop for the UK team at Lysander as part of their Academy day. What a session! We talked about one big truth: your employees’ LinkedIn profiles are ➡EIGHT⬅ times more powerful than your company page. Let that sink in. Corporate comms have their place, but they won’t cut through the noise on their own. We live in an age where 💡ATTENTION = CURRENCY 💷 .
