Our Kent grown Christmas trees have arrived in-store 🎄 Grown and nurtured on Rolvenden’s Hole Park Estate, this season’s range of trees include the popular Nordmann Fir, potted trees, and other varieties in a range of sizes and styles designed to suit every home or garden. Once again, for every tree sold, we are donating 5% to Pilgrims Hospices - helping this amazing charity to continue delivering specialist end-of-life care in the local area. What's more, we'll also be hosting a Christmas tree recycling station for Pilgrims on Saturday 11th and Sunday 13th January. All you need to do is register your tree here > https://lnkd.in/e7bVY2U9

If you're visiting us this weekend make sure to pop by and speak to the team from Porchlight (charity) who are here with a very important message... This year is Porchlight's 50th birthday, but they're not celebrating – because the average age of death for people living on the streets is just 45 for men and 43 for women. Until they can celebrate their 50th birthdays, Porchlight won’t be celebrating theirs. Stop by to learn more about their work and how you can help make a difference in the lives of people facing and experiencing homelessness 💜 Can’t make it? Don’t worry – you can still help! Last week, our innovative Food Accelerator founders were hosted by the marvellous Macknade in #Faversham 🚀 It was an invaluable opportunity for the cohort to learn more about the unseen work that goes into running a successful business and to understand a potential buyer's perspective on their #plantbased food or drink businesses. Some of our founders were even brave enough to pitch their products in front of Macknade's Managing Director, Shane Godwin, and his buying team, Natasha Walsh and Louise Darby. Thank you to Macknade for hosting us, to Shane, Natasha, and Louise for their open, honest, and encouraging feedback, and to our wonderful founders, for enthusiastically seizing this fantastic opportunity 💪 If you’d like to find out more about our next Food Accelerator cohort (starting in February 2025), contact Valerie Pondaven or visit our website: https://lnkd.in/efXtQwVT

I am hugely excited to have been asked to jump on board as an ambassador for IFE Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, encompassing the major tradeshows IFE Manufacturing, IFE - International Food & Drink Event, The Pub Show and HRC. Having grown up in the Independent Fine Food Sector, with one foot in hospitality and the other in retail, but most of all cemented in our community, I know the economic and cultural importance we have locally, nationally and internationally to the UK.
