Magia's friends and colleagues channelled their inner Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary by completing a charity climb of England's highest summit, Scafell Pike. Not everyone was a seasoned hiker, and this helped to create and reinforce a sense of community during the climb, with all of the team completing the hike. Meeting at 6 a.m. and starting the climb at 7 a.m., the groups worked their way through mist, wind, and rocky paths, all reaching the summit at various times before 10:30 a.m. with plenty of time to have a sandwich before making their way back down, enjoying an afternoon in the Lake District, and then meeting up in the evening for a celebratory dinner. The climb was to help raise funds and awareness for Finnbar's Force, a small yet mighty children's cancer charity that is making a vital difference in supporting families affected by childhood cancer. 🧡 Raising awareness among parents and healthcare professionals 🧡 Providing financial, practical, and emotional assistance to families 🧡 Supporting research into childhood brain tumours Initiatives like this really do make all the difference!
