And just like that, we find ourselves at the end of 2024. The Mansell team has had a cracking year, with us being involved in some of our best projects yet. With 2025, and all the positive challenges it brings, just around the corner, we wanted to highlight some of our favourite moments from the past year: ✅ Celebrating our longest serving team members with a lunch at Sam's Chop House ✅ Our impact off and on site at King Street West, Stockport Working with Salford City Council at Longshaw Drive ✅ Our long-running partnership with Seddon, and our collaboration on five brownfield sites ✅ Winning Supplier of the Year at the Insider Media North West Residential Property Awards Our team has also taken part in a wealth of impactful ESG activities. Completing over 500 hours of volunteering, providing 20 weeks of work experience, donating over £10,000 to local charities, while also raising over £25,000 in aid of various charitable causes. Thank you to all our clients, friends and partners for your support and collaboration this year, we can't wait to see what 2025 brings!

We’re backing the Place North Viability Gap Campaign.   The viability gap is a critical challenge blocking the North of England from delivering the homes our communities urgently need.   While the new government has ambitious housing targets - and the North boasts the land, expertise, and capacity to build - too many sites are left undeveloped. Work is progressing well at Preston's Foxton Centre, and we can see the project coming to life as we deliver the SFS infill to the façade. Once the building is weather tight, we’ll be starting on the partitioning, dry-lining and spray finishes. The Foxton Centre is a vital charity supporting and adults and young people in need across Preston and once finished, the building will offer a range of engaging activities. We’re committed to creating a positive impact beyond construction. Last week, some of our team members – Carla Jepson, Glenn Edwards, and Carin Gallimore – spent their time volunteering with Urban Outreach Bolton. They helped pack hampers that will be delivered to 1,700 families, ensuring each family has everything they need for a Christmas dinner. We are joining forces with Place North West throughout 2025 to champion innovation in the sector and highlight the role specialist contractors can play in helping the government achieve its ambitious 1.5m homes target by the end of the parliament. It was great to see the ongoing progress at Downley Drive last week.  Even Storm Darragh didn't slow us down and the concrete pour was completed and set on time.   This development is being delivered in partnership with Rowlinson, Buttress and CARLEY DAINES AND PARTNERS LIMITED on behalf of Great Places Housing Group with 45 apartments across 5 storeys.   Our team is delivering a metframe superstructure including the lift shaft, staircases and floors, as well as finishes across metal frame ceilings, fire protection, non-load bearing partitions, insulation and spray finishes.   We are proud to be part of the team delivering more homes in the North West.   #construction #housing #greatermanchester
