📢 A recent BBC News story highlights delays in pension valuations for thousands of public sector workers, including teachers and construction workers, due to a significant backlog. As of January 2025, over 1,300 teachers are waiting, some since 2023. These delays, caused by complex calculations, valuation method changes, and McCloud remedy adjustments, are preventing divorcing couples from reaching financial settlements.
