Mash Gang are now part of the DioniLife family, and we couldn't be happier. Read the full story down here 👇 When we wrote the first Mash Gang strategy as a team, we were torn about what to put as our objective, aside from making the best no-alc drinks on the planet. We wanted to write “To become the world’s first $1bn no-alc brand”, but pulled the punch at the last second and settled for “to make enough revenue to pay salaries”. We’ve made no secret that we’ve aimed big from day one though, and have grown accordingly. We set out to reach as many people as we can, and to be a truly inclusive brand we need to be available in as many amazing places as possible. While others in our same space have tried to win over local pubs, one by one, we’ve been brewing in multiple countries and export to many more. The surreal excitement of seeing your beers in a foreign corner shop for the first time is something we hope everyone gets to experience in their own way at least once in their lifetime. We’ve been blessed that every founder is not only a wonderful human, but exceptionally curious and happy to be a humble amateur. We’ve all learned on the job, as none of us have done this before, and with a wonderful set of mentors, I think we’ve become world class. We have taken Mash Gang as far as we can with a small team, and need guidance and resource to reach the next level, becoming a recognised and trusted global brand. That resource would also let us focus on the things we’re brilliant at and love. We’ve personally known some of the founders of DioniLife for the best part of a decade, and as we’ve grown to know the others we’ve learned they are wonderful people. They’ve known of Mash Gang since day one, and love us for the right reasons. The genesis of this deal started over wings and beer at a Christmas party last year and was celebrated with biryani and beer as this autumn started. We’re excited to join the family because they do business in the same way we have and will continue to do, but now we have the resource to make even better beers that nobody could say are second best to alcoholic drinks, while giving our customers and community the love and attention we’re known for, at scale.
