🏆Big congratulations to one of our site teams who were presented with a Team of the Week Award! Whilst working on the M1 Junction 16 – 19 NEAR (National Emergency Area Retrofit) Scheme they were recently presented with the Team of the Week award. They were nominated by Andrew Warburton from bmJV for their dedication to the network after the team stayed late on a night shift to get a cable installed, terminated and tested. This meant they could re-energise two CCTV cameras that were essential for the network all ahead of the planned schedule. An EV charging unit upgrade across the London Borough of Hillingdon! A perfect example of McCann supporting local councils to make a step towards decarbonising the transport industry. Our team installed six EVBox 7.4kWh car charging units at the London Hillingdon Council’s basement car park for their fleet of company pool vehicles. In addition, we installed an additional 3-phase charging unit in the Mayor’s basement garage. These specific charging units provide the council with modern, connected charging solutions by utilising Wi-Fi capabilities. The power for these units was supplied via the basement intake cupboard using 16mm SWA cable. 🎅🏻 Mission Christmas is back! This December we're once again fundraising in support of Cash for Kids in the Midlands, in partnership with the team at Peter James Homes and Hits Radio. We'll be running two initiatives, including: ⛄️ Christmas Jumper Day 🎁 Christmas Gift Drive We're making it our mission to ensure that no child wakes up without a gift this Christmas and you can support our Christmas Gift Drive by donating new and unwrapped presents to be distributed to children across the Midlands. Simply purchase your presents and either drop them off at our head office in Chilwell or, get in touch with us and we can arrange for them to be collected from your premises. The deadline for donations is Friday 13th December. We'll also be sharing photos from our Christmas Jumper Day on social media, with our team making a monetary donation to Cash for Kids after the day. Together, let's make sure that no child wakes up without a gift this Christmas 🫶
