🚀Takeoff Accelerator was a blast! After an intense 5-month acceleration program, we finally reached Expo Day, where we showcased our technologies to an audience of investors, industry experts, and key institutional and private partners. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth—your engagement and feedback led to some truly meaningful and productive conversations. We are especially grateful to the individuals who made this accelerator possible, with special recognition to Eugenia Forte and Francesco B. for their unwavering belief in us from the very beginning. Takeoff Accelerator is an aerospace accelerator powered by CDP Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and managed by Plug and Play Tech Center. With European Space Agency - ESA and ASI as scientific partners, and Leonardo and AVIO as corporate partners, this initiative is truly shaping the future of aerospace.

After months of hard work on my startup, I’m excited to share some great news from Meta Futura Aerospace! 💰 We secured investment from CDP Venture Capital SGR through Takeoff Accelerator and opened a new office in the beautiful OGR Torino in Italy. 🛰️ Our novel satellite mobility solution is now more advanced than ever, following successful testing in microgravity environments in the UK and at ESA/ESTEC facilities. 🚀 🚀 Introducing the Future Worlds Demo Day 24 Startups 🚀 🚀 Meta Futura Aerospace’s ground-breaking thrust vectoring technology means satellite companies can achieve the same capabilities as conventional systems, while reducing mass by 55%, volume by 40% and cost by 75%. The team have already successfully tested their first prototype at Surrey Space Centre, sponsored by the UK Space Agency and will be testing the next iteration of their product in the European Space Agency (ESA) facilities in the Netherlands in summer 2024. Currently, they are looking to raise £2 million to underwrite the cost of deploying their first technology demonstration in space and patenting their innovations. They are keen to talk to investors, sector specific programmes or industry partners with a proven track record of taking SpaceTech startups to market.
