What will be hot in workplace learning in 2025? 🔥 According to the results of Donald H Taylor's L&D Global Sentiment Survey, AI continues to take centre stage - no surprises there! ✅ AI can be a superhero for tasks like organising heaps of learning content or offering insights on tricky organisational problems. ❌ But much like asking a room full of experts for their opinions, AI's answers can vary. That's where our Human/AI Sandwich comes in handy 🥪 Check out our expanded version of our thoughts on AI and how we use it here at Mint 👉 https://bit.ly/3WVJfcS. We'd love to hear your thoughts - where do you stand on AI in L&D? Drop us a comment below!

This Valentine's Day, we're feeling the love from our amazing clients ❤️ If you don't have a dedicated Teams chat just for sharing client feedback… are you even doing it right?! We've had some brilliant responses lately (including a particularly creative car analogy 🚗), and it's the kind of feedback that reminds us why we love what we do.

10 Essential things you weren’t told about creating your elearning course… Building an e-learning course sounds straightforward, until you realise how much no one told you. Over the years, I’ve seen people stumble over these common challenges: 1. How to budget effectively Should you build it in-house? Buy off the shelf courses? Use an agency? And what’s a rough price for each option? These decisions can make or break your project. 2. Storyboarding With rapid authoring tools, it’s tempting to skip straight to building. I used to, but it’s a shortcut that misses a vital and creative process. A well-thought-out storyboard can save time, effort, and headaches later. 3. Accessibility Do you really need a course that caters to screen readers? The answer is yes, but accessibility isn’t just about screen readers. A fully compliant course creates a better learning experience for everyone. 4. Measuring impact and ROI You’re about to spend a lot of money on this course. How will you know if it’s worth it? What’s your plan to measure success and make a case for the ROI? 5. Marketing your course You’ve built the perfect course, but how will you tell people about it? Why will they care? Will they even see your email? A single email won’t cut it; you need a thoughtful, multi-touch approach. 6. Defining learning objectives How will you create the learning objectives that underpin your course? These aren’t just nice-to-haves, they’re essential to your design. 7. Adapting to offline formats What happens if someone needs your course in an offline format? How will you convert it while maintaining its value and usability? 8. Translating courses How do you translate your course easily and affordably? What’s the cost per language, and how do you manage the process without duplicating effort? 9. Analysing engagement and collecting feedback How will you know if learners are engaging with your course? What’s your plan to collect their feedback and use it to improve? 10. Keeping content up-to-date Content changes all the time—how will you quickly and efficiently make updates across the course without starting from scratch? If only there was something coming to solve all these challenges… (Pssst… keep an eye on my posts or come see me at the World of Learning on the 4th/5th of February for a sneak peek at how we’re tackling these problems!) #Elearning #LearningTech #WorkplaceLearning #WorldofLearning
