Happy New year everyone! 🎉 Welcome back to those of you who are working this week. Hopefully having had the opportunity to reflect and refocus on what’s important, as we move into 2025. ☺️ Since becoming a mum, I've found I’m much more thoughtful about who I can help around me, especially those in local my community. Yesterday lunchtime I took a few simple actions that made a difference, and I hope to inspire you to do the same: 1️⃣ Donated lots of yummy unopened items to the MK Food Bank 2️⃣ Went through duplicate unopened toys and gifts from the last few Christmases to donate to The Henry Allen Trust 3️⃣ Put together bags of new clothing to drop off at the Willen Hospice Milton Keynes. Two of the above drop offs, are almost next to each other in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. It really got me thinking that small efforts can have a big impact. What steps are you taking to give back? As we wind up for Christmas, our delivery vans have been working tirelessly across Milton Keynes to ensure all our centres are stocked with food parcels in time for the holidays. This is all made possible thanks to amazing campaigns like the Logo Challenge, MK Can Quest, Harvest, Reverse Advent, and the Food Parcel Challenge, as well as the ongoing generosity of public donations. Thanks to these efforts, we've been able to ensure that no one has been turned away from our services this year. . We would like to personally wish our supporters, friends and trustees a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Love from Louisa, Lisa and Poppy . Day 20! ☃️ ❄️ And with Christmas fast approaching it is important to take a moment to give a helping hand to those around us. That's why over the past few weeks, we have been collecting food for the MK Food Bank, providing meals to support the less fortunate this Christmas. Making a Difference This Christmas! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas Food Bank collection this year! Myself & Peter Cheetham delivered the food to the MK Food Bank Today ready for Christmas. The National Innovation Centre had been collecting for a few weeks and also donating via a QR code that I had put around the centre on notice boards and in the toilets.
