Royal Museums Greenwich It was an honour to partner with Royal Museums Greenwich to deliver an incredible showcase at the iconic Cutty Sark, presenting this venue at its finest. Reflecting on the event, we’re reminded of the rich diversity within the entire RMG portfolio and the unforgettable experiences we’ve had the privilege to host in these historic settings. From the Royal Observatory, where ‘time begins’, to the legendary Cutty Sark, famed for bringing tea to Britain at record speed, and the National Maritime Museum, which houses epic tales of exploration that have shaped the world. And, of course, there’s the beautiful Queen’s House—the heart of Greenwich for centuries and a pivotal centre of royal life. Each of these venues offers a unique blend of history and heritage. Magical Taxi Tour 2024 We had the incredible honour of catering for the Children’s Magical Taxi Tour again this year! This heartwarming event, organised by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, brings over 200 children with serious illnesses on an unforgettable journey to Disneyland Paris. The convoy leaves from Canary Wharf and stretches over three miles at points, with more than 90 taxis, London Ambulance’s, the City of London Police, The AA and Gendarmerie Nationale escorts in tow! From Mickey Mouse pancakes to live brass band performances, it was a morning filled with laughter, smiles, and hope. We’re grateful to everyone at The Pelligon and our 30 Team MV volunteers who helped make it possible! We are so grateful to be part of this magical experience and to support the brave children and their families. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💛

Moving Venue Catering Academy Last night, the Moving Venue Catering Academy kicked off in true style at the Attitude Awards! Our mentees spent the evening with Managing Director, Chloe Jackson and Deputy Managing Director, Ben Tobin-Paris, who introduced them to the fundamentals of catering while enjoying the awards and a three-course dinner served by our team. We’ve been honoured to cater the Attitude Awards since 2017, and this year, our generous client graciously allowed us to host the Academy at the event. Coming from the venue side of the business, our mentees had the unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of a different venue. They gained insight into the intricacies of catering for a large and high profile awards dinner, and a broader understanding of what they can expect to learn in the Academy over the coming months. The 2024 Attitude Awards celebrated prominent LGBTQ+ figures and allies at London’s Roundhouse, with highlights including Elton John receiving the Legacy Award, presented by Ed Sheeran, along with performances by Nemo and Matt Henry. Other award recipients included Vanessa Williams, Mawaan Rizwan, and Lulu, with powerful speeches and standout fashion moments—such as India Willoughby’s advocacy for trans rights. The night concluded with Kathy Sledge’s performance of “We Are Family.” What an incredible night it was—our mentees were truly inspired by the presence of legends! ATTITUDE Roundhouse Events

Celebrating Five Years at Magazine London When we first partnered with Magazine London five years ago, we knew it was going to be something special. What we couldn’t have imagined, however, was how deeply rooted we would become in this iconic venue and how much we would grow both as a team and as a business. As we celebrate five years as the exclusive caterer at Magazine London, we wanted to take a look back on an incredible journey filled with memorable events, delicious food, and extraordinary collaborations. Here’s to the next 5! Broadwick

Continuing Our Journey We’re thrilled to announce that we've been reaccredited as a preferred caterer at the iconic London Transport Museum! With its rich history and unique atmosphere, this venue is the perfect backdrop for unforgettable events, and we’re honoured to be a part of it once again. In September, we had the privilege of catering the Stagecoach Long Service Awards for the 6th year running, celebrating their longest-serving employees in the historic heart of Covent Garden. For such a prestigious event, there’s no better setting than among the red double-decker buses and vintage tube carriages that tell the story of London’s vibrant past. We’re passionate about delivering exceptional catering experiences, and this reaccreditation allows us to continue our journey in one of London’s most beloved venues. The Devil's in the Details Taking a closer look at our unforgettable Night at the Museum as we celebrated 40 bold and rebellious years of Moving Venue! A massive thank you to our amazing partners who helped bring the vision to life— from the tablescape to our fantastic produce suppliers, to the jaw-dropping production and florals. We couldn’t have done it without you! September seems to have come and gone in a blink but it's fair to say we're still reliving every moment. Moving Venue, Rebellious by Nature for 40 years In the words of our CEO Greg Lawson, event catering is the most exciting form of catering - you get one chance. Over the past four decades, we are privileged to have been entrusted to deliver this service on behalf of thousands of clients, for millions of guests across our prestigious portfolio of venues and hospitality contracts. We would like to thank our clients for your trust, for your friendship, for the honour and for joining us in celebrating our 40th anniversary in the most spectacular way! But the biggest thanks go to our team of the most passionate, loyal and dedicated staff, who quite simply, we wouldn’t be Moving Venue without. #MV40

Rebellious by Nature, The Exhibition For the past four decades, Moving Venue have played a vital role in a plethora of occasions, catering for royalty to pop royalty, in galleries to racecourses, museums to private homes. We have witnessed celebrations of love, iconic launch events, decadent galas, Christmas shindigs and everything in between. The common thread throughout has been providing delicious seasonal food, and service with a smile. We wanted our guests to join us on a journey through the past forty years through a beautifully curated exhibition, as we celebrated our history and all there is to come. "If an event is meant to matter emotionally, symbolically, or mystically, food will be close at hand to sanctify and bind it." A Natural History of the Sense, Diane Ackerman #MV40

We may have made it look effortless, but the process to create The Snickers involved the whole MV team. Our incredible Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Hartnett gives a sneak peek into how these showstopper desserts were created:
Any pastry chef will recognise the feeling when someone comes to them and says- "we're planning a hugely special event, we want to" wow" our guests". The occasion- celebrating 40 years of Moving Venue Caterers at the iconic Naturalhistorymuseum Immediately the brainstorming starts with moodboards from Ben Tobin-Paris Paige Norman and Chloe Jackson. Menu design leans on favourite desserts throughout the years, there were so many to choose from! With help from Abby Squire we created a unique stencil for our #mv40 chocolate decorations. Supported by suppliers County Supplies, Town & Country Fine Foods it was during the second tasting we decided on Snickers 2.0 to complete the perfect meal. Greg Lawson our CEO then suggested we should have some very special chocolates or #petitforties. Like petit fours, but celebratory- this was no ordinary event. With fabulous floral decor by Lavender Green florals in hues of pinks, golds, greens and oranges, we complemented the decor with our specially made chocolates and golden leaves- Venezuelan dark vanilla, and ruby raspberry and lime. Through the photos, I think it's easy to see what can be achieved with amazing collaborations. What a team to be part of!
