M181 📸 Esh Group MSF MSF Energy 🟢🔵 Works are progressing well on our lighting and signs package, which consists of passive support systems for columns and posts, ADS signs, a full new cable network and the provision of a solar generator. ⚡️ The project began work in July 2024 to build a new southern junction on the M181 near Scunthorpe, funded by National Highways and North Lincolnshire Council 🤝 The scheme includes a roundabout, road realignments, drainage systems, and landscaping, aiming to reduce congestion at Berkeley Circle, improve connectivity, and unlock land for housing. The project is trialing many sustainable practices, such as using recycled materials and solar-powered facilities, are integral 🔋 We have implemented various social value initiatives such as local supply chain engagement, training opportunities, and community support. 📣 Major contract award‼️Black Cat 🐈⬛☝️ MSF have been appointed by Skanska to deliver the highway technology, lighting, associated civils and traffic signs as part of National Highways £1bn A428 Black Cat project 🤝🇸🇪🇬🇧 As part of our package we will install CCTV, nearly 1,500 signs and bollards, over 400 lighting columns, 40,000m plus of ducting and 254 chambers 💪🟣🟠 Our bid is underpinned by a commitment to both carbon reduction and social value initiatives in the local community 🌳📚 The scheme on the A428 in Cambridgeshire will bring a new 10-mile dual carriageway between the Black Cat and Caxton Gibbet roundabouts 🛣️ This scheme will benefit road users and the local community by improving journeys between Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge and the link between the M11 and M1.
