Adia and Thyra, two of our lovely Degree Apprentices, have been on site this week visiting one of current projects at Sydenham Hill. As you can see, they look delighted to be out and about! Here’s what they said: ‘We visited a live construction site to gain first-hand experience and observe the installation of mechanical and electrical systems in new-build apartments. During our visit, we saw key elements being installed, such as air source heat pump on the roof, electrical distribution panels in the risers, thermal stores, cold water storage tank, cable containment and consumer units in the apartments’. 🌟 MZA has developed a tailor-made in-house technical programme for our degree apprenticeship, and applications are currently open for our October 2025 intake, but will be closing soon, so don't miss out! MZA appoints new Director MZA is pleased to announce that Tim Irons has joined the Board. Tim joins us from Pick Everard, where he was Operations Director (Central Government) and responsible for leading strategic growth and governance over work delivered in this market.  In his new role, Tim will help drive the growth of MZA as we strive to differentiate and expand our professional services offer, bringing sustainable, value-for-money, innovative strategies to our clients and their portfolios. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy welcoming three young engineers to MZA. Adia Sadeqee (Mechanical) and Thyra Al-Feena (Electrical) have joined the team as our latest apprentices and will be undertaking their Building Services Engineering qualifications at London South Bank University for one day per week. Hugh Bulloch joins us until July 2025 for his placement year as part of his Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Southampton. Adia, Thyra and Hugh are all based in our London office and will be working closely with their mentors as part of our project teams, developing their knowledge and design skills and putting their learning into practice.
