NAS Recruitment (Scotland) are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our busy team in Livingston or Rutherglen. The ideal candidate must have a previous record of success in driver recruitment or within a busy transport operation and have a positive can do attitude. As a recruitment consultant, your role will involve: -Building relationships with new and existing customers -Screening and interviewing candidates for vacancies -Attending meetings with business clients -Managing client vacancies and matching the best candidates to each position A starting basic salary of around £28,000 is offered, based on an average 4.5 day working week (our team are currently working a 9-day fortnight) The 9 day fortnight is only applicable after a successful 3 months probation period. The opportunity to earn performance-related bonus. Out-of-hours on call attendance is required on a rota basis, for which extra payment is made. NAS Recruitment have a current vacancy for a Hygiene Manager for our client in Broxburn. Reporting directly to the Site Technical Manager, the Hygiene Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all staff comply with the health and safety and hygiene procedures, and protocols and that everything meets with the standard required. As a manager within the Company, you will be expected to identify and prioritise challenges which occur within your areas of responsibility. You will be expected to use personal judgement and show initiative in developing effective and constructive solutions to these challenges. Main Duties · Plan implement and analyse hygiene policies and Standard Operating Procedures in line with Chemical Suppliers’ requirements. · Always ensure total safety for all working activities. · Required to clean an area each shift. · Ensure that time is allocated to audit hygiene operators work, and to complete paperwork. · Manage stock and contracts for all cleaning products, equipment, and related services. · Motivate and maximise employee engagement, supporting their training development. · Plan and assist with audits. Mentoring staff · Drive hygiene awareness and improvements across the business. · Lead & Oversee the team of Hygiene Operatives (dayshift/CP nightshift and FP hygiene) ensuring duties are carried out correctly & efficiently to meet / exceed expectations of the business · Maintain factory GMP/Hygiene standards to exceed customer expectation · Work together with the management team to ensure that factory cleaning requirements are met within agreed deadlines, making best use of resources and materials · Communicate effectively with your team, managing their attendance, development and performance in line with Company policies and procedures (training matrix) · Monitor and report hygiene Key Performance Indicators into the relevant format · Coach, develop and lead staff, and establish a culture that supports all aspect of the business. · Ensure all activities meet with and integrate with Company requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care. · Managing staff absence, holidays and any other non-attendance · Updating the time and attendance system daily · Managing staff holidays and cover · Completing return to work documentation Experience within a similar role and industry is preferred. This role is a backshift position, normally 13:30-21:30 each day, Monday to Friday. This position is salaried at £30,000 pa.
