NEBOair are actively involved in sustainable aviation initiatives partnering with training schools in the country currently using this model. Airbourne Aviation Limited , Popham Saxon Air Charter Ltd , Norwich Moray Flying Club , RAF Lossiemouth Almat Flying Academy , Coventry and Synergy Aviation Ltd at Fair Oaks to be the latest to add a Velis to their impressive fleet. We are dedicated to the Decarbonisation of Pilot Training by forming partnerships with flying schools and clubs throughout the UK. This initiative is crucial for integrating the Pipistrel Aircraft Velis Electro into flight training programs and is key to advancing sustainable aviation in the UK. I engage directly with the CAA to support and encourage the inclusion of the Velis into Flight Training , as it is a fully certified aircraft, for pilot training and the CAA have been brilliant. We must all remember it is designed as a Circuit Trainer! The Velis Electro, being a fully electric aircraft, reduces emissions by eliminating the need for conventional aviation fuels. Its operation results in zero direct CO2 emissions, contributing to cleaner skies, more sustainable aviation practices and represents a shift towards greener, more efficient technology in the aviation industry. We try to promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) as it is crucial for companies as it reflects their commitment to sustainable and ethical practices. This commitment can enhance a company's reputation, attract investors and customers who prioritise sustainability, and mitigate risks associated with environmental and social issues. ESG practices are increasingly important in today's business landscape for long-term success and resilience. Existing pilots can take Differences Training over a number of flights with a certified Flight Instructor, and all pilots whether new or established must carry out a Ground School. There is no E PPL, there is no need for an E PPL at this stage, but what the Velis Electro does is offer Emission Free Flight as an introduction to the skies, as well as hour building, revalidations and ab inito training. In conjunction the SW121 / Explorer it offers the Greenest / Cleanest route to a PPL or LAPL. Please do reach out to us to find your closest airfield offering Electric Flight.

WOW - An incredible couple of months for NEBOair Ltd and the NEBOair Electric Arrows at Air Shows across the UK. We had two static aircraft at The Royal International Air Tattoo , then went to Farnborough International Air Show to fly as part of the Display, the Friday evening we ventured to Old Buckenham Airfield for their Award Winning Air Show, and closing up with Families Day at RAF Syersham where we showcased our collaboration with THE MORAY FLYING CLUB (1990) at Raf Lossiemouth. So incredibly grateful to the amazing support team. Our fabulous Display Pilots, Spark One and Sparky Two, the pilots who work so hard in ferrying the aircraft to the shows, Angus, Cliff and Bob. The airfields who allows us PPR, and to charge enroute, strengthening the concept we can fly and charge using the aircrafts mobile charger provided three phase is available, and to my wingman on the ground who is my rock. We are very proud to be supporting Giraffes on Tour, and the amazing Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity with the introduction of the new aircraft G-ERAF. It's not often opportunities present themselves. Yesterday, two Pipistrel Aircraft Velis Electros from the NEBOair Ltd fleet flew into the The Royal International Air Tattoo, highlighting our collaboration with the Moray Flying Club at Raf Lossiemouth. Today, the Slovenian Armed Forces landed with their C-27J Spartan transport aircraft and took a spot right beside us. It was a fantastic opportunity for FWD, which we lease to Airbourne Aviation Limited, to be photographed alongside such an impressive aircraft from her country of origin.

In the summer of 2023, members of the 525 Specialist Team Royal Engineers visited Wickenby Airfield, a purpose-built bomber airfield during WW2. It was home of two Lancaster squadrons, 12 and 626, and is steeped in history with RAF Wickenby credited as one of the finest operational records of 1 Group Bomber Command Captain Adam Hammett, a key member of the NEBOair Ltd team since 2020, provided an overview of the aircraft and discussed the upcoming infrastructure, maintenance facilities, and engineering training necessary to support Electric Aviation towards JetZero. Each member enjoyed a 15-minute flight over this historical airfield on the Velis Electro, piloted by Chris Kirk, a trusted flight instructor with NEBOair. Over the past twelve months, Kerry Wilmot , Director of NEBOair Ltd has been working closely with Stuart Anselm of Moray Flying Club based at RAF Lossiemouth to introduce the Pipistrel Aircraft Velis Electro into their fleet. In November 2023, Kerry and our Maintenance organisation Skyborne Fleet Support delivered G-OVEL to RAF Lossiemouth where the club is based. Last weekend they held an introduction day, and Kerry was thrilled to attend.
