This week, our team has been hard at work upgrading a CCTV system for one of our healthcare clients. The existing setup included several legacy cameras, some of which had suffered from water ingress over time due to exposure to the elements. In addition to replacing outdated cameras, our engineers have been addressing wiring issues to ensure the new system is built for long-term reliability. To meet the client’s needs, which included retaining some functional cameras while upgrading others, Next2IT has provided a UniFi Enterprise NVR. This solution enables seamless integration, allowing the client to maintain their existing third-party cameras while leveraging a modern, user-friendly interface. Additionally, the UniFi NVR supports advanced capabilities such as AI-powered facial recognition and license plate recognition with new UniFi AI Pro cameras. This approach not only future-proofs the hospital’s surveillance system but also ensures a robust and scalable solution for years to come.
