Did someone say games night? 🎲 Yesterday was the last event of 2024 for us - and it was cosy, wholesome, and a whole lot of fun. Networking alone can be a little dry at times. When you have something to do - like play a game - it breaks the ice faster, and gives you something to focus on beyond the conversation. Thank you all for joining us! What do you prefer - networking with or without an activity?

About us
Connect | Learn | Empower – join us in building an empowered community of marketeers. It's all in the name. We are a network for women+ in the marketing industry, who live or work in Norfolk. Simple. Connect with like-minded women+. Share skills and knowledge. Empower each other to grow. There are plenty of networking groups, marketing meet-ups, and women-only communities – we don’t pretend to be revolutionary. That said, the Norfolk Women’s Marketing Network is filling a gap for our county. Norfolk is buzzing with marketing talent. With talented women+. We'd love to hear from you!

Fancy some casual games and drinks to wind up the year? 🎲 We first ran this event last December and it exceeded our expectations. Having a game to play when you’re networking takes a lot of the pressure off the conversation (unless you’re competitive like Hannah and Grace). Join us on 17th for a fun and festive evening. Name a better way to spend your lunch break! We had our bi-monthly lunch and link this week, where ladies from Norfolk in marketing meet up to enjoy casual chat over lunch at Yalm Foodhall. Our next event is speed networking, next week, we hope to see you there!

We're back, back again! 🙌 Have you ever felt frustrated that you can't talk to everyone at a networking event? Or maybe you need some encouragement to talk to someone new and push out of your comfort zone? We've got you! We're running our second speed networking event & it's going to be nice and chilled. The usual NWMN vibes with a little more structure. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Will we see you there? 👀

First-time experience as a speaker with Norfolk Women's Marketing Network ✨ A huge thank you to for inviting me to be part of this event with an incredible group of expert women in marketing! 🙌 We had some amazing discussions: 🌟 Shannon Rivers talked about ‘unhinged’ strategies, highlighting unconventional campaigns like Duolingo’s bold personality Amicable Divorce's eye-catching ads on London public transport. We explored the benefits and risks of taking these bold approaches. 📱 I shared insights on TikTok as a platform for reaching new audiences and educating them about your services. It’s not just about funny dancing trends – it can be incredibly useful for both e-commerce and service-based businesses! 💼 Charlotte Travers led a fascinating conversation about vulnerability and oversharing on LinkedIn. We looked at the platform’s shift from formal work updates to a space where people feel comfortable sharing personal, relatable experiences. 🧐 What’s your take on this trend? Do you prefer the personal touch, or do you like keeping it professional? 🔗 Caroline Ellis emphasized the value of being a LinkedIn lover—using the platform to build a personal brand that aligns with both professional and personal values. 🎨 And because consistency is key in marketing, Hannah Payne closed with a discussion on brand consistency—from visual elements to messaging—especially when rebranding. Here’s a recap and a video from the night at Fuel Studios. Enjoy, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on these trends! 👀 #Marketing #WomenInMarketing #Norfolk #Norwich #UnhingedMarketing #LinkedInLovers #Branding #TikTokMarketing

We thoroughly enjoyed last night's panel discussion, did you? 🙌 Our 5 brilliant panellists sat down to discuss marketing trends that they've noticed as a practitioner or a consumer. Covering 'unhinged' marketing, TikTok, over-sharing on social media, LinkedIn, and brand consistency - it was really interesting to hear different takes on popular trends. The conversation spread to the audience and we heard some examples from attendees, too (anyone else on the side of TikTok where videos only have audio of breathing in???). Perhaps best not to ask. Thank you to everyone who joined us and we'll see you next month 🫶 📸: Lauren Willgress | Create Joy
