Solar boom is amazing but alone will not address all #energy and climate goals. While solar is “rising” fast, 2024 marks also the record in the demand of all fossil fuels: ⛽️ Oil consumption in 2024 = historic high demand 🔥 Gas consumption in 2024 = historic high demand ⛏️ Coal consumption in 2024 = historic high demand In other words there are no excuse me for complacency or reducing efforts on other #technology and #innovation. And #China’s level of deployment of solar is simply astonishing being the leader - by far the- of new solar installations..
