Over the last year of hosting “The Talking Tradesman” I have noticed a few common qualities from my guests - most prominently, that so many of them have faced a whole range of adversities, hit low points and then climbed out of them…which often has led them to sit down with me and talk about that climb. . On the 10/5 I’m going to do my own climb, alongside some former guests of the podcast & representatives of On The Tools , we are going to climb mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). But with one important detail - we are going to do this in the dark ! We are going to climb out of the nights darkness and reach the summit for sunrise - “The Climb From Darkness” to symbolise the climb from mental darkness into the light 💚 . We will be raising awareness around mental health during the build up and climb and will be raising money for charity through sponsorship of the climb. This charity is “Project 7000 - The Lost City” A movement set up by On The Tools, that aims to raise 2.5million for construction mental health charities over the next 3 years.
