Given the massive challenge posed by climate change and the limited funding available for environmental causes, we aimed to connect with experts who had good networks in the world of finance and sustainability to help us fundraise and grow the charity. Working with provided us with incredible access to fantastic candidates, and we are delighted to welcome four incredible trustees and two ambassadors to our environmental education charity. One Home Climate Solutions is an environmental education charity that helps people adapt to a low cost, low carbon lifestyle and extreme weather events. Working with partners across the UK, we provide advice on saving money, reducing pollution and increasing resilience to floods and storms. Appearing every week across local and regional papers through Angela Terry's Going Green column and numerous interviews across print and broadcast, One Home has achieved an incredible reach of over half a billion highlighting issues such as electric cars, renewable energy, food waste, loft insulation and no fly holidays. Our tips and information are popular and accessible, providing people with a way to do their bit and help accelerate the transition to net zero. In addition, we shine a light on under reported issues such as the impact of coastal erosion on seaside communities, who become homeless and receive no compensation.
