As 2024 comes to a close, we have been reflecting on our progress at Oxford StemTech this year. It has been a year of hard work, innovation, and significant milestones. One highlight we are particularly pleased to share is being awarded the #InnovateUK Biomedical Catalyst grant. This will support our efforts to advance precision medicine in collaboration with #MaxWellBiosystems and #King’s College London. But that was just part of the story - 2024 was a year of growth and innovation for us: **ReproPlex™ iPSC Reprogramming: Large scale iPSC reprogramming for #UKDRI research groups enabled by our ReproPlex™ platform. **Expanded Services: Broadened our capabilities to support #DrugDiscovery programs targeting diverse cell types, including nociceptors, cortical neurons, microglia, macrophages, and oligodendrocytes. **Proprietary Assays: Developed advanced #CellBasedAssays for cell-type-specific in vitro disease modelling and drug discovery. **Gene Expression Server Launch: Created a web server to capture gene expression data from iPSC-derived cell types we produce. Contact us to find out more! **Enhanced Capabilities: Introduced services such as #QC for iPSCs, #PBMCisolation and #stable cell line generation. **Global Growth: Expanded our client base across the UK, Europe, and North America. **Team Expansion: Welcomed talented new team members who helped us deliver on ambitious projects and bringing us closer to achieving our vision. We are thrilled that Oxford StemTech, a start-up based at Heyford Park Innovation Centre are graduating to larger premises due to recent growth and business success. The journey of Oxford StemTech began with the vision of its founders, Zameel Cader, Galbha Duggal and Satyan Chintawar, who embarked on their entrepreneurial venture in September 2020 at Heyford Park Innovation Centre What started as a team of two has steadily grown over the years. Now, as they prepare to move into a bigger space, Oxford StemTech is poised for further expansion. The graduation to a larger space is scheduled for April, marking a significant milestone in Oxford StemTech's journey. This transition is made possible through the collaborative efforts of our Laboratory Supervisor at Heyford Park Innovation Centre, Karanjit Das, who has supported the new lab fit out, and Ania Ferenc from the Oxford Science Park.
