In addition to the landmark, Apple has confirmed Diary Of A CEO is the UK’s most-downloaded podcast for a third year. 🌏Max rolled out in seven Asian countries (on Tuesday), but Warner Bros. Analysing device performance, latency and accessibility across Wimbledon, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the DTG found IP-delivered live sports content has made “significant progress” in comparison with 2023. There were, however, some disparities, with the report suggesting some devices were still experiencing delays. 💻 Amazon is to shut its ad-supported streaming service Freevee after five years. Content from the platform will move to the Prime Video brand. Freevee is expected to be phased out in the next view weeks. 📈 The Walt Disney Company has reported that Q4 revenues increased 6 per cent QoQ to $22.6 billion (€21.4bn), and 3 per cent for the year to $91.4 billion. 📺 More than half of the UK population (52%) dislike ads or find them disruptive, presenting significant challenges for agencies and marketers, a new study suggested. 👔 Prime Video has appointed Andrew Bennett to lead its teams in Europe from January 2025, with Barry Furlong set to exit at the end of the year. 📺 Tivù S.r.l. will make its redesigned Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) for free-to-air DTT and DTH satellite television available on connected TV sets via the HbbTV standard by the end of 2024.
