Our founder Paul had a great time at City of Glasgow College last week talking about his history in hospitality and the Panther M*lk journey!

MEET OUR FOUNDER - Paul Crawford! We thought we should introduce you to the Panther M*lk team starting with the ultimate Big Cat, our founder Paul. An absolute grafter and a man with a vision , we’ve asked Paul a few questions so you can get to know him better. Why did you start Panther M*lk? Because I had to, as they say 'necessity is the mother of invention’. I got made redundant at the start of the COVID pandemic and I had always toyed with the idea of bringing Panther Milk to the market as a drinks brand, as we had run a successful secret bar in Glasgow for a few years. When we launched we decided to ditch the dairy to be more sustainable and chose oat milk as our base and thats when Panther M*lk (with an asterisk) was born. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened since starting the business? After I was on Dragons’ Den Deborah Meadon suggested Panther M*lk for the TV show ‘ Love Your Weekend' with Alan Titchmarsh. It really made us laugh seeing Panther M*lk being consumed on tv on such a wholesome show by Alan Titchmarsh, Deborah Meadon and guest Brian Blessed on a Sunday afternoon. What’s one customer comment or review you’ll never forget? After sampling Panther M*lk someone once said to Rory “ That tastes disgustingly good”. We still reference it! What was the last show you bingewatched? 'Manhunt' which was about the assasination of Abraham Lincoln. It highlighted how deep rooted racism is in American society and why the division still exists today. Cats or Dogs? I have both so can’t decide that one. Although I clearly have a fondness for big cats. Any questions for Paul ask us below!
