It was great to part of the Cheshire Property Club Lunch yesterday, hosted by Downtown in Business, Frank Mckenna and Chris McKenna. We heard about the exciting developments at Daresbury driving science investment in Cheshire, boosting growth and talent attraction. Paul Vernon, Head of Daresbury Laboratory, highlighted its wider economic impact, with science parks supporting real estate growth. A strong regional narrative was key to attracting investment despite funding challenges. The north-south divide remains a challenge, but investment in the North continues. Mark Julian of Bruntwood Sci-Tech highlighted Alderley Park’s 400-acre development, combining commercial, science, research, leisure, and residential spaces. The discussion also covered Cheshire’s devolution prospects and its potential impact on infrastructure, transport, and economic growth. Let's continue to drive innovation and investment in the North West! 🚀 Thank you to DiB for the pictures. #Deliverbettertogether| #NorthWest | #ScienceandTech
