Meet Joe RB. We think he's a bit of a legend. It's Joe's last day today as our General Manager of Camden Pilgrims as he takes on his new role as Training Manager in our Learning & Development team. Joe's worked in many of our pizzerias, such as Exmouth Market, Canary Wharf, & Covent Garden. He's welcomed 100's of new Pilgrims to the company, delivered workshops to many of our managers, created bundles of training materials, and truly represents our values every day. We're very proud of you, Joe. Here's to many more pizzas together 🫶

We had an engaging and insightful morning with Zero Carbon Forum and Nutritics at Mission Kitchen - discussing critically important strategies in menu development, with the future in mind. 📉 Future proofing and de-risking menus: menu with less carbon = menu with more resilience (keeping costs down in the long run) 🌱 When it comes to increasing the plant-base and vegeterian elements, menus should say more about what’s IN the dishes, not what’s not in it. 🍽️ And the biggest takeaway; operators have a responsibility to know their impact, educate in all directions - from supply chain, through menu design, to customer choices (it’s not all on the guest to decide themselves)

Things you might do the next time you're in Chelsea. 1. Stop off at our brand new pizzeria on the Kings Road. 2. Try our Christmas guest special pizza. 3. Finish it off with a Terrymisu (if you know, you know). 4. Leave happier. We'll be properly opening our doors next week - this bunch of pizza loving legends can't wait to meet you all.

We're over the moon to have won the communications and influence award at The Caterer People Awards. I collected the award on behalf of everyone at Pizza Pilgrims, our partner Will Rankin, and most of all our good friend, Joshua - who also shared a few words. Thanks to all the speakers during the event, it was a good'n 👏 Winner winner, pizza dinner.

All hail Andrej! Meet our new Second Chef in Cambridge. He's just completed his Pizza School Training and has every right to look chuffed to bits. 8 weeks ago he had never made a pizza, nor worked in a pizzeria. There's a huge amount of skill to learn and Anrej has truly represented our 'Push Yourself' value - dedicating himself to the mission. Now he can make Neapolitan Pizzas like he's been here for years. If you're in Cambridge pop in for a pizza. Here's to many pizzas together, Andrej! 🫶

Championing Progress with Purpose We're incredibly proud to be recognised by Foodservice Equipment Journal (FEJ) as a sustainable business champion! 🙌 This isn't about claiming we've cracked the code on sustainability - it's about the collective journey we’re on to be better every single day. From our teams across Pizza Pilgrims, and our friends at blue+yellow, we are constantly challenging ourselves to make smarter, more responsible choices and reduce our impact wherever we can. A journey (not destination) to make people happier, one pizza at a time. 🍕 Let’s keep it going! 💚 #Sustainability #TeamEffort #PizzaPilgrims
