Tackling Homelessness in Swansea Pobl, in partnership with Swansea Council, is set to transform the former Swansea Central Police Station into much-needed temporary supported accommodation for homeless individuals and couples. Llys Glas, a Grade II listed building in the heart of the city, will be redeveloped to provide 68 rooms with ensuite facilities, helping to reduce the council’s reliance on bed and breakfast accommodation. At Pobl, we believe that safe, secure housing is the foundation for positive change—and this project is another step towards tackling homelessness in Swansea.
