💻 We are thrilled to announce that Hafod’s Databank has been extended for another year, now available until 31 December 2025. 🙌📲 We are also delighted to share that the period for which customers can access free data has been extended from 6 months to 12 months. Hafod were proud to support a Summer Health & Wellness programme for children in Cardiff this summer with Robin Sowden-Taylor and ION gym in Llanishen. 🏃♀️🏃♂️ The programme provided free enriching and engaging activities throughout the summer holidays to young people across the city at the gym and in various youth clubs across the city.

We are proud to have supported 391 children in 215 families this year as part of our School Essentials Fund. This initiative, supported by our Social Value and internal funds, was created to address the financial challenges faced by families in our communities due to the increasing cost of living, particularly during back-to-school season. We understand the financial pressures that parents and guardians experience, and we are committed to providing support to our customers and their families. 💚

Last week we hosted our very first Hafod Care Celebration Awards, and what an amazing day it was! Colleagues, residents, and their families all took the time to nominate our incredible colleagues, resulting in nearly 500 nominations. We got to hear inspiring stories from colleagues and residents, but most of all, we celebrated the heart and dedication our team brings every day. It was a joy to be part of the small team organising it all and to see the excitement on our colleagues’ faces as they received their awards. Congrats to everyone who was nominated! 👏🏼

It was so amazing to be part of the Hafod Care Awards last week, which was a whole evening celebrating frontline colleagues, amazing nurses, carers, domestics, chefs, kitchen assistants.. it was all about them and the awesome work they do. Watching a video from residents saying how secure, safe and well looked after they are was so emotional. “Family” was the core message. I had the privilege to present Maintenance Operative of the Year award to Alan Cound who really does go above and beyond each and every day. #colleaguerecognition 💚💛 #amazingcolleagues I am so proud to work next to each and every one Hafod
