Introducing The Hospitalfield Arts Garden 💚 Designed by Nigel Dunnett, this garden draws inspiration from its location on Scotland’s east coast, with its striking yet delicate sand dune landscape. It's cause, Hospitalfield, champions the importance of arts, and of the teaching and learning of the arts, inspiring and nurturing the creative health of young people. Post RHS Chelsea 2025, the garden will be relocated to Ladyloan Primary School in Arbroath, a newly built school close to Hospitalfield that forms part of Angus Council’s strategic investment into primary education in the region. The school is situated almost on the beach in Arbroath and the relocated garden will be adapted to create a stimulating space for children and teachers to enjoy. Stay tuned to learn more about the charity, and if you missed it yesterday, see our feed for a reel of Nigel himself introducing the garden. We can't wait to see this come to life! 🌿 #gardensforgoodcauses #projectgivingback #rhschelseaflowershow #rhschelsea

The Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show is *always* a pleasure, but the stand out highlight for us this year was in getting the opportunity to spend time with the National Garden Scheme team on their show garden on Main Avenue. Following Covid and the loss of a lot of the corporate sponsored gardens at the show, a mystery benefactor has stepped forward to donate money that allows Chelsea to continue at the same standards of show garden as they always have done. Project Giving Back is the charity behind this initiative, and they were also behind helping the NGS bring their very first show garden to life under the care of veteran Chelsea garden designer, Tom Stuart-Smith The garden was stunning, and spending time on the garden and inside the garden building was a true pleasure. NGS President Mary Berry held a tea party ahead of us turning up, and those leftover cakes looked so tempting. We promise we didn’t touch 😇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eNQdH4Ft #2024inreview #2025goals #smallbusinessowner #smallbusinesslife #2025plans

Introducing The Hospice UK Garden of Compassion. 🫶 The Hospice UK Garden of Compassion celebrates life and the connections we share with each other, and the natural world that we are all a part of, making it a fitting tribute to the essential work of hospice care. Inspired by the Olive Houses in Mallorca and broader Mediterranean settings, it uses large craggy boulders to anchor the space and create a strong sense of being grounded in nature. The naturalistic planting is all about vibrant Mediterranean tones, with drought-tolerant plants creating a rich tapestry of colour and texture. Following the show, the garden will be relocated to St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham, a location which has inspired the garden’s design. Check our Instagram for a clip of the designer himself Thomas Hoblyn introducing the garden! 🌿 #ProjectGivingBack #GardensforGoodCauses

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve won the CharityComms Inspiring Communicator Award in the Best Collaboration (Freelancer / Charity) category! 🏆 We collaborated with Joy Baker, a PR and Digital Marketing Specialist in Design, Interiors, Landscape, and Architecture 🌿. She helped us with media and PR for our Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2024 garden. The project was funded by the grant-making charity, Project Giving Back 🌼 Joy secured some great pieces of coverage including the garden being one of the three main ‘spotlight’ gardens on the show’s opening BBC2 evening programme with a 10-minute feature. The garden, designed by Ula Maria, also won the prestigious 'Best in Show' award. Her work played a vital role in increasing awareness of muscle wasting and weakening conditions. Joy Baker, Baker PR said: "It is an honour to receive the Best Collaboration (Freelancer and Charity) award for my work with Muscular Dystrophy UK, promoting their cause through their Forest Bathing Show Garden..." Thank you Daniel for this wonderful feedback. We are so proud to support charities like Bowel Research UK through horticulture, with exposure from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and a lasting legacy from the garden being relocated for the charity after the show. Inspired by medical and botanical research, exploring the fascinating connection between a healthy landscape, gut, and mind, the Bowel Research UK Garden was relocated to the Apricot Centre near Totnes in Devon, which runs a sustainable farm helping children and families understand the fundamental link between the wellbeing of the soil, food and habitat, and the mental and physical health of the people who work in and around its farm.
