Third day of 🌍 ‘Think Globally, Act Locally: Air Pollution’ student workshop by PRP was all about finalising ideas and getting the concept on paper. There was a lot of creative talking, sketching and model making to get all ideas into the final schemes. Now the main goal is to get prepared, under close supervision of our PRP staff (Lea Kazanecka-Olejnik, Martyna Dobosz, Karina Orlińska, Dogus Deli, Michał Romanów, Anastasia Vasilyeva, Aleksandra Matczak, Petar Uzelac) for the final presentation that is happening tomorrow! First day of our 🌍 ‘Think Globally, Act Locally: Air Pollution’ student workshop kicked off. Together with a group of architecture and landscape students from Wrocław Universities, we will try to tackle the pressing issue of air pollution in cities. Today session has been opened by Scott Sanderson, Marcin Puchala, Lea Kazanecka-Olejnik, Martyna Dobosz and myself. It was followed by great lectures delivered by Angeli Ganoo-Fletcher on ‘Strategic landscape principles’ and Carolina Ipes who’s given some insights on dealing with air pollution at master planning stage. For the next four days, together with PRP staff (Karina Orlińska, Aleksandra Matczak, Anastasia Vasilyeva, Dogus Deli, Michał Romanów) we will be exploring how masterplanning, architecture, and landscape design can create healthier urban environments, as well as gain insight from industry professionals and international experts on this critical issue. This isn't just theoretical – the ideas can lead to potentially start of real conversations with city officials and have some impact on changes in Wroclaw.   Please come and see the final results of the workshop!
